About Me

Hi, I’m Abraham Garabedian — a full stack developer (currently) based in Los Angeles, California. I specialize in building responsive, high-performance web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

My path into engineering came late in life - I was a cook (and eventually, a chef) for over nine years. When the pandemic hit, I found it the perfect time to change careers, and I'd always loved computers and tech. I took a 13 week immersive bootcamp with General Assembly, and eventually landed my first engineering position. Front end work came easily to me, and I spent over 2 years as a front end engineer at a SaaS fintech company. I like to think that my background as a chef has shaped my approach to organization, adaptability, and performance under pressure, in both the kitchen and in the IDE.

When I’m not writing code or building browser tools, I enjoy playing games with my family, redwood forests, playing guitar, and cheering for the San Jose Sharks.
